Annalisa is an Italian film director, screenwriter and producer based in Colombia. Since 2007 she has made several documentaries and short films in different regions of the world: Europe, the United States, South America, Iran, the Palestinian Territories, Jordan and Antarctica. In 2009, she was awarded a Fulbright scholarship to pursue an MFA degree in Writing/Directing Fiction in New York. In 2011, she received the Directors Guild of America “Best Woman Student Filmmaker” Jury Award for her thesis short film “Alex”. Her films have been showcased at international film festivals, in the MAXXI museum of Rome in Italy and in the permanent exhibition at the Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum. “Paula”, her first feature length film currently in development, won “Best Pitch Opera Prima 2021” at Villa de Leyva International Film Festival and was selected for Torino Film Lab NEXT 2022 and LabGuion 2023 de la Corporación Cinefilia.
