Synopsis:

Its name is Floripa. It is an island in the southern part of Brazil, glowing with beaches and beautiful landscape. Its inhabitants, the “Manezinhos”, are specialized in the raising in captivity of a type of bird called “curio” which in their native language means “friend of men”. The documentary is a journey to discover there the craziest birds of the world and their owners. It’s the story of a unique friendship made up of care and dedication but also of singing contests and shared walks on the streets of a beautiful sub-tropical island.
